Fixed Lump SumCreating a community hub for local sports and connection in the heart of Dingley
Supporting local sporting groups to grow and thrive, the Dingley Reserve Pavilion is a vital addition to the southeastern suburbs and it will serve as a dynamic hub for sports and community activities.
Alchemy was engaged to complete the works on the partially finished pavilion as part of a collaborative effort between the City of Kingston, the Australian Federal Government, the Victorian State Government AFL Victoria, Cricket Australia, and the resident clubs. The project involved integrating and refurbishing the existing change room facility with the construction of the new two-storey pavilion, as well as creating new flexible multipurpose spaces, kitchen facilities, a kiosk, and public toilets.
Designed by dwp, a standout feature of the pavilion is its elevated open terrace viewing platform, which offers spectators and families a comfortable and safe space to enjoy the action. This design element enhances the spectator experience while promoting greater community engagement during events.
