Fixed Lump SumTo support the growth of women and girls football in the area, Moonee Valley City Council approved redevelopment works at Buckley Park that included much needed upgrades and an extension to the Doutta Stars Pavilion.
The scope sought to improve the existing conditions by providing new amenities to meet current standards, upgrades of the existing first aid room, umpire room and the bar/lounge amenities, the construction of new ‘home’ and ‘away’ change rooms, a new pergola and associated tiered spectator seating. The increased capacity required coordination of new infrastructure utilities, re-routing existing inground services, and a new sports field tower light. Tapping into the existing water main required a partial road closure and traffic management for local residents.
