Robert Blackwood Hall

Ranked as one of the best acoustically available spaces in Australia, the hall is also home to a resplendent Sir Louis Matheson pipe organ, two grand pianos, a dazzling Lindesay Clark stained glass window, climate-controlled auditorium and state-of-the-art audio and lighting systems.

After years of use, the Alchemy Minor Works team were engaged to complete the refurbishment and revitalisation of the prestigious hall, including carpet replacement, services upgrades and the installation of new auditorium seating. Used by not only the university but the general public and entities for performances, music scores and ceremonies, the works were completed outside of the theatre season to ensure minimal disruptions to the schedule.
